We got settled in our room and got ourselves relaxed. It was a very pleasant stay for us in this beautiful Sun Resort.

Day 1:

We started our day with a delicious breakfast and we went to Île aux Cerfs (Deer Island in English). It is a privately owned paradise island of Mauritius with white sandy beaches. This Island is open to tourist all days from 09:00 Hrs to 18:00 Hrs. We took a speed boat to reach the island, this shuttle service is available every 30 minutes. This Speed boat transfer includes Grand River South East Waterfall view and transfer between Île aux Cerfs.

The best things to do in this Island Île aux Cerfs are:
There were 4 restaurants but our choice was La Chaumiere Masala. It is built on stilts and is surrounded by trees, this gave us a great ambience with a gorgeous view of the bluish-green beach.

All the above rides come under a single package and if you want u can also opt for the selected rides. We went for an Underwater walk, zip-lining and a speed boat drive.

End of the day we are back to our lovely Resort where we had a delicious buffet and rested.

Other than that we came across various types of precious stones and some jewellery and watches were made out of these stones which were elegant to see.

Next, we travelled to a Trou Aux Cerfs (it's a Volcano Crater). The crater which we saw was formed some million years ago, our guide said, "as per expects this volcano is currently dormant but could get active anytime within next thousand years".

Next, we travelled to Ganga Talao (commonly known as Grand Basin) where we happened to see Gaint statues of Lord Durga and Lord Mangal Mahadev

We saw some of the animals in the park among all the animals the tortoise which I saw was very big and I haven't seen anywhere like this. It was really amazing to see them which resemble a huge rock.

At the end of the south tour, we reached our resort and relaxed in the evening by having a walk at the seashore.

Day 3:

On our third day of the tour, we went to the North part of Mauritius. The northern part is mainly a city tour with malls, ports etc.

First, we went to a Shri Prasanna Venkateswara temple and it resembles that we were in India. The Gurukkal who was making poojas in that temple is from South India.
